Before You Update

  • There is no SQL to run, existing queues carry over automatically
  • Crafts already in a queue from 1.2.0 finish the old way and go straight to the inventory, new crafts use the bench

Updated

  • Finished crafts now wait at the bench if you walk away, go back and click Collect in the queue to receive them
  • Crafts that finish while you are offline also wait at the bench instead of landing in your inventory
  • Ready items show a green Collect card in the queue, items waiting at a different bench are marked as such
  • Crafting can only be started while standing at the bench
  • Added Korean and Czech translations

Fixed

  • Crafted items were delivered to your inventory no matter how far you were from the bench

Before You Update

  • There is no SQL to run, the script adds the new queue column to stg_crafting_levels by itself on first start
  • Queue progress runs on real time, so a craft started before a restart can already be finished when the server comes back up

Updated

  • Crafting queues are now saved and survive a server restart
  • Your queue is also kept when you disconnect or crash, it is no longer wiped on logout
  • Crafts keep progressing while you are offline and anything that finished is waiting for you when you return
  • Renamed the M4A9 recipe label, the recipe id is unchanged so your bench setup is not affected

Fixed

  • Everything in progress was lost when the server restarted or the player left

Before You Update

  • Every bench in shared/config.lua used to carry a job = nil line, it is now restriction = { type = false, name = 'police' }
  • type is job, gang or false, and false means no lock at all so anyone can use the bench
  • name is the job or gang name and it can be a list too, like { 'ballas', 'vagos' }
  • Gangs only exist on QBCore and QBOX, on ESX use type = 'job'
  • Your old job = 'police' lines still work, so nothing breaks if you keep them

Updated

  • Benches can now be locked to a job or a gang (gang locks work on QBCore and QBOX)
  • Added a restriction type selector to the /benches creator menu
  • Locked benches no longer open for players outside the required job or gang

Fixed

  • /benches did not open for admins on QBCore
  • The Edit button in the bench admin menu did nothing
  • Custom benches disappeared after a restart

DESCRIPTION


STG Crafting is a free crafting system for FiveM. You place benches anywhere on the map from an in-game editor, set what each one can make, and players craft weapons, tools and food from material recipes. It runs on ESX, QBCore and QBOX.


KEY FEATURES


  • In-Game Bench Editor Pick a prop, aim where you want it, rotate it, confirm, and the bench is there. No restart, no config editing, no database work.
  • Separate Bench Recipes Each bench has its own recipe list. A weapon bench only shows weapons, a tool bench only shows tools.
  • Weapon & Item Crafting Craft weapons, tools and food from material recipes you set up in the config.
  • Queue Add several items at once and they craft in the background while you do something else. The whole queue shows in the UI.
  • Cancel & Refund Cancel a queued item and you get the ingredients back.
  • Levels & XP Crafting gives XP and players move up through ranks, from Novice to Master Crafter.
  • Locked Recipes Lock recipes behind a minimum level. Players can see them but have to reach the level to craft them.
  • Job-Locked Benches Lock a whole bench to a job, like mechanic tables, gang hideouts or police-only benches.
  • 10 Themes Blue, red, green, purple, orange, pink, yellow, cyan, white, plus one theme where you set the colors yourself.
  • Recipe Categories Sort recipes into categories like weapons, tools and food.
  • Saved Benches Benches you place in-game are stored in the database and come back after a restart.
  • UI The menu shows the ingredients a recipe needs, how many you already have, and the craft time.
  • Languages Comes with 15 languages and a locale file if you want to add your own.
  • ESX, QBCore & QBX Runs on all three through the stg_lib bridge, no separate framework setup.
